ForgePoint Foundry

Forge your entry
into IT.

ForgePoint Foundry is our IT & Cybersecurity Career Program: a practical path for veterans, career changers, and determined beginners who are ready to build toward work in technology.

/ The program

A starting point for the work ahead.

Foundry is ForgePoint’s first career program. It brings IT foundations, networking, cybersecurity, certification preparation, and hands-on practice into one connected learning experience.

The purpose is simple: help students move from “I am interested in IT” to “I can understand the work, practice the work, and explain the work.” It is designed to prepare you for the next step—not promise a shortcut or a guaranteed job.

/ Who it is for

Bring the drive. We will help make the path visible.

Foundry is for people at different starting points who share one thing: a willingness to build capability through effort and consistent practice.

01

Veterans & military-connected learners

Translate discipline, mission focus, and problem-solving experience into a technical career path with structure and practical support.

02

Career changers

Build on the work ethic and life experience you already have while developing the technical foundation employers expect from an entry-level candidate.

03

Driven beginners

Start without needing a prior IT job. Foundry is designed to make the work understandable, then give you opportunities to practice it.

/ What you will build

One path.
Four connected layers.

Every layer is designed to support the next, so learning does not feel like a stack of disconnected chapters.

01

IT foundations

Understand the devices, operating systems, support workflows, and troubleshooting habits that give the rest of IT context.

02

Networks & systems

Learn how users, devices, services, and networks connect—and how to approach the problems that interrupt them.

03

Cybersecurity practice

Build a defender’s mindset through security concepts, investigation scenarios, log-reading, and clear documentation.

04

Certification & career readiness

Prepare with purpose: connect certification study, practical demonstrations, professional communication, and a next-step plan.

/ How it should feel

Less memorizing in isolation. More learning with context.

Technical careers ask you to understand a problem, use the right tools, communicate what you found, and choose a responsible next step. Foundry is being shaped around that reality through labs, simulations, troubleshooting practice, feedback, and certification-focused study.

Program schedule, tuition, enrollment timing, and final curriculum details will be shared directly with interested prospective students as ForgePoint prepares its first cohort.
