ForgePoint Foundry

Learn live.
Lab with purpose.

Foundry is ForgePoint’s 15-week IT & Cybersecurity Career Program—designed for motivated adults who want a structured, hands-on path into technical work.

/ What class is like

A steady rhythm of instruction, practice, and feedback.

Foundry meets live online Monday through Thursday. Across five three-week blocks—A+ Core 1, A+ Core 2, Network+, Security+, and CySA+—students work from foundational IT skills toward defensive cybersecurity thinking.

Every live sessionInstruction · Lab · Knowledge check · Study focus
01

Start together

Live instruction sets the objective, connects it to real IT or security work, and gives the room a clear place to begin.

02

Learn by doing

Demos, guided labs, troubleshooting drills, and practical scenarios turn a concept into something students can use.

03

Check the why

Discussion, questions, and knowledge checks help students explain their reasoning—not just recognize an answer.

04

Build toward readiness

Study expectations, practice questions, and targeted review keep certification preparation connected to the work in front of you.

/ Your instructors

Experienced practitioners who make the work make sense.

ForgePoint instructors are experienced, certified subject-matter experts. They bring the lesson out of the slide deck—connecting exam objectives to how systems, users, and security decisions work in practice.

  • Clear explanations that connect concepts to the task at hand.
  • Guidance during labs and room to ask the questions that unblock progress.
  • Practical examples, stories, and troubleshooting habits from the field.
  • Direct feedback that helps students know what to reinforce next.

/ Try a Foundry hands-on lab

Restore a broken DNS query.

This is a guided preview of the hands-on troubleshooting labs Foundry students can expect. You do not need prior DNS experience—use the ticket, the built-in hints, and the same evidence-first approach students practice with their instructors.

/ What you will leave with

More than a stack of terms to memorize.

Students build a working foundation in IT support, networking, and cybersecurity; practice explaining their technical decisions; and prepare to pursue industry certification exams with a clearer understanding of the material.

Certification outcomes depend on each student’s preparation and exam performance. Foundry is designed to help students build the knowledge, practice, and confidence to pursue them.
